Ingredients
2 chicken breasts
½ cup onion, sliced thin
20 cloves of garlic, whole and peeled
1 tablespoon paprika
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
3 tablespoons olive oil
Additional olive oil
Directions
1. Whisk together olive oil, paprika, salt and pepper.
2. Using a brush, cover chicken breasts on both sides with olive oil mixture. You should have some of the mixture left over in the end.
3. Set the chicken aside. Then, toss together the onions, garlic, and remaining olive oil mixture.
4. Put the additional olive oil in the bottom of your crock pot, just enough to coat the bottom.
5. Put about a third of the onion and garlic mixture in the bottom of the crock pot. Then add a chicken breast, another third of the onion and garlic mixture, the second chicken breast, and the rest of the onion and garlic mixture.
6. Cook on high for 4-5 hours. The chicken, onions, and garlic will all be soft and slightly sweet after the garlic has cooked for so long.
Tips
Goes great with mashed potatoes!
