Recipe by Amish Trivedi.
Ingredients
1 package frozen pastry sheets, thawed
spaghetti sauce
Monterey Jack cheese
Colby cheese
turkey pepperoni
Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 400ºF.
2. Cut pastry sheets into 5 inch squares.
3. In each square, put a tablespoon of sauce (2 if you really like sauce, but no more or the rolls will get mushy).
4. Sprinkle some cheese across the sauce and add a few turkey pepperoni.
5. Fold the square in half, carefully, and crimp the open edges with a fork. Bake for about 20-25 minutes, until crispy.
Tips
1. If you want, you can wrap these in plastic wrap or drop them in small individual Ziploc bags before baking and freeze them. They last in the freezer for a few weeks and to bake them, you just need to pull them out of the bag and pop them in a 400º oven for a bit longer than the fresh ones (25-30 minutes).
2. Other good toppings to use, in addition to or in place of turkey pepperoni, include: regular pepperoni, zucchini, tomatoes, mushrooms, onion, or bell pepper. To make a vegetarian version, simply leave out the pepperoni.
